Days 125 and 126, November 8th and 9th, rest days Vista
We've had two lovely days hiding from the rain with friends Peter and Sylvia in Vista. We've taken the opportunity to do some solid planning for our next few weeks of riding, catch up on some sleep and enjoy some good food and company. We have also lightened the bikes significantly and will leave quite a lot of gear we won't need for these next few weeks here in Vista.

This evening we went down to Oceanside and went for a walk on the Pier. We also visited the house from the original Top Gun with a replica of Tom Cruise's motorcycle. Great fun!
Beautiful sunset and beach followed by dinner, it feels like a real holiday!

Last night I also had the privilege of attending a workshop run by Sylvia who is an executive coach. We spent the evening learning and implementing an approach designed to utilise our creativity to help address questions that we seek answers to in our lives. It's a simple method that is also a lot of fun and I look forward to using it frequently to help with those 'sticky' problems we sometimes face at work. Sylvia's website is http://www.sylviabecker-hill.com/ if you are interested in learning more about how she combines art with personal growth and coaching.
We hit the road again tomorrow, desert bound!
