Day 3 rest day and day 4 Mission to Chilliwack 61km and 400m climb.
Due to a lack of accommodation options and Gordon's need for a rest, we had a day off yesterday at a wee campsite at a trout park in Mission. We went for a walk into town and stocked up on a few things before spending the rest of the day reading and resting.

Today we hit the road again and wandered our way through the Fraser Valley to just north of Chilliwack where we are staying with another Warmshowers host. Today's ride was mostly on road as the river levels remain high and a lot of the trails are closed. We found some lovely, quiet back roads as well as some more dyke riding. We had a wee climb in the middle and managed this just fine which we were quite chuffed about.
The temperature rose as the day wore on and by the time we reached Chilliwack we were keen for a break. We conveniently rode past a brewery just at the right time so stopped and parted with our cash happily. It was only a hop, skip and a jump from there to our warmshowers hosts who live on a dairy farm just north of town. They have converted a rustic wee shed into a wonderful cabin which we are now hunkering down in to try and avoid the mosquitoes! Heading for Hope tomorrow.
