Days 22 and 23, Pacific Sojourn, May 8 and 9, support crew
Yesterday was a pretty quiet day. Lulu and I spent quite a lot of time doing bookings for the trip Gordon and I will be doing in a couple of weeks time. It is starting to get into busy season so I was keen to book ahead. We have a pretty good idea of where we want to spend extra time so it makes it easy to book. Even so, we had to adjust a little where places were already booked. Still, we got it done and I will be able to relax rather than worry about where we will be staying. Having said that, nothing is ever really confirmed until you turn up! The day finished with a very refreshing swim.
Today was much busier. We had two groups going out and one was fully supported. Jyrus and I headed off to do that, getting almost to the end before the rain came in. The group kept riding but were so wet that we took pity on them and gave them a ride to lunch after they had got changed.
Ross headed back to New Zealand for a couple of weeks today so we have been let loose! It's a busy couple of weeks ahead but should be just fine.
