Day 172, December 24th, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Today was fun. We had planned to just walk around Cabo as we had not booked any excursions but we ended up ticking off a bucket list item!

The ship arrived off Cabo at around 1030 but is too big to dock so we had to join a tender to get to shore. Bit of a slow process and it was 1230 by the time we got there. We wandered off down the Harbour and got suckered into signing up for a side by side off road vehicle ride. After looking into this back in Ocitillo Wells and finding it way outside our price range, we were pleased to see it was not so much here. For half the price we got to drive a CanAm Maverick X3 Turbo ourselves with a personal guide in the desert of Baja California. First time I've driven one and boy it was fun. We had a hoot with the turbo and both got it sideways and angled off some mean banks. Christmas present to each other and worth every penny!

Back to the boat in plenty of time but pretty hungry after having missed lunch so we squeezed a pizza in. Dinner wasn't until 8pm and was formal dress. Luckily when we were up at FOY, we had grabbed some free clothes from the free shop that would do the trick for the evening. I wore a print dress with 3/4 sleeves and black Skechers (figured they wouldn't look down) and a silver chain that was a freebie when we got on the boat. Gordon wore his NZO riding longs, Skechers and a silk floral shirt that he scored at FOY. Overall, I think we were pretty well turned out!
