Days 157 - 161, December 9th to 13th, Fountain of Youth RV Park and Spa
We remain in situ at FOY. Our days are filled with a variety of activities that are keeping us well occupied. I am walking and running 10km each morning before breakfast and Gordon continues at the gym. We have had our first foray into Frisbee golf with Canadian friends Nora and Rod and Gordon has scored himself a ride in a side by side for sometime this week.
Each afternoon and sometimes in the evening we soak in the hot tubs. For $21 per night we have little impetus to leave and are actually saving money. We have never stayed at a place like this before and are enjoying it immensely, particularly because people are so friendly.
This morning we woke to snow on the hills which if we had ridden back to San Diego we would have found ourselves smack in the middle of. This morning it was 5 degrees so definitely cool in the tent but we are still super comfortable in it and very happy to be here, not there!
Our plans are firming up for the next phase of our journey which we are getting excited about. We'll keep you posted on that over the coming days.
