Days 149 and 150, settling in.

Days 149 and 150, December 2nd and 3rd, Fountain of Youth RV Park and Spa

Well, it happened, we've booked in for longer. Gordon has proven a boon hand at Bocci Ball and is in demand, and I attended my first line dancing lesson (not a resounding success I might add, but mostly fun anyway). 

The longer we stay, the more welcoming people become. Last night we had pizza at the grill and sat around the fire watching the line dancing. This morning was a $6 all you can eat pancake breakfast. It's kind of like a cruise without the food (plus you don't really go anywhere).

Interestingly,  behind the park is a range of mountains called the Chocolate Range. My Backcountry Navigator App also names it the Aerial Gunnery Range. This morning I watched two jet fighters fly overhead followed closely by loud explosions and this evening,  we are being lulled to sleep be automatic machine gun fire! Apparently some people do still hike up into the hills. Personally,  I think I'll stick to the trails below the park!
