Day 107, October 21st, Antero Reservoir to Denver to Wolcott BLM campground
We had a chilly night in the UHaul parked beside the Antero Reservoir but woke to amazing cloud formations and a coffee from the neighbours. The Reservoir is well used for trout fishing and our neighbors on both sides were trying their luck.

We eventually headed off toward Denver and successfully navigated our way through the freeway system to pick up our wee camper named Woody. We dropped the UHaul off and switched all our gear into the van. The bikes fit comfortably but we have to take them out to sleep. Should work ok though.
It was nearly 5pm by the time we left Denver heading west. It's hard to find open campgrounds at this time of year so 125miles and several hours later we pulled into a Bureau of Land Management site along the I70 freeway. The BLM sites seem to be open while the Forest Service ones are all closed. Anyway, we are tucked up nice and cosily under a duvet with real pillows for the night after a very long day! It will be interesting to see the campsite in the morning!
